The Badger men’s
basketball team stopped Texas A&M-Corpus Christie on Tuesday night 64-49,
but the big story after the game was Bo Ryan. 
After addressing the win, Ryan told reporters that he was retiring
effective immediately.  Athletic Director
Barry Alvarez says that assistant Greg Gard will take over the team on an
interim basis through the rest of the season. 
Ryan’s career ends with 747 career wins at UW-Platteville, UW-Milwaukee
and at Wisconsin.  He has the highest winning percentage in Big
Ten play in league history.  The Badger
will host UW-Green
Bay
a week from tonight.

 

UW-Green Bay beat Pacific 93-88
on Tuesday night at the Resch
Center
.  Carrington Love had 29 to pace the Phoenix.  Linc Darner’s squad hosts UW-Superior on
Sunday.

 

The Bucks follow-up
their big win over Golden State by laying an egg in Los Angeles, falling to the Lakers
113-95.  Kobe Bryant scored 22 as the
Lakers improve to just 4-21 on the season. 
Michael Carter Williams had 19 to lead Milwaukee
The Bucks play the Clippers tonight in Los Angeles. Coverage begins at 9:10pm on

The Packers get
back on the practice field today as they get ready for their trip out to Oakland this weekend.  The Packers lead the NFC North with a 9-4
record.  Oakland is 6-7.  The kickoff is set for 3:05pm on KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 1pm on your home for Green

Badger running
back Corey Clement announced that he will return for his senior season.  The Badgers play USC on December 30th
in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego.
