The Indiana Hoosiers snapped the Badgers 16 game win streak with a 75-72 win in Bloomington last night. The Badgers led by 52-42 with 13:27 left in the 2nd half but then their defense let Indiana guards get to the rim time after time.  Traevon Jackson led UW with 21.  Kevin Ferrell sliced up the UW guards for 25 points to lead all scorers.  The win IU snapped a 12 game losing streak to Bucky.  Wisconsin will host Michigan on Saturday.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.

The Bucks host Minnesota tonight at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.  Coverage begins at 6:40pm with the tip set for 7pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.


Packers quarterback coach Ben McAdoo has been named the offensive coordinator with the New York Giants.  Packers running back Eddie Lacy has been named the Pro Football Writers Association Rookie of the Year.  The Packers also say that they are surveying season ticket holders to review their playoff ticket policy after they struggled to sell-out their home game against San Francisco.


The Detroit Lions have hired Jim Caldwell has their new head coach.  He had been the Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator and also was the head coach at Indianapolis.


The Germantown boys basketball team’s state record 69 game win streak game to an end last night as they lost at Brookfield Central 68-58.


Weather knocked out most of last night’s high school action across the area last night.  Fond du Lac’s boys basketball game at Appleton East has been rescheduled to Monday, February 17th.
