Tuesday was Media Day at Super Bowl
XLVIII in New Jersey
and it went off pretty calm with no major stories breaking with 1000s of
reporters from across the country peppering players with football and
non-football related questions. Now its
all about football for the Broncos and Seahawks. Sunday’s game kicks off at 5:30pm. You’ll hear it on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.
The Packers added a big fullback to
their roster. Ina Liaina is 5.11 and
weighs 250 pounds. He’s a true blocking
fullback, who spent time with Miami last
offseason after playing college football at San Jose State.
The Badgers host Northwestern tonight
at the Kohl Center.
UW snapped a 3 game slide with win at Purdue on Saturday. Wisconsin
spanked the Wildcats 76-49 back on January 2nd in Evanston.
Tonight’s tip is set for 8pm with pregame coverage set to begin at 7pm
on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.
The Bucks host Phoenix
tonight at BMO Harris Bradley
Center. Milwaukee
is just 1-12 in 2014 and has lost 3 straight games. The tip tonight is set for 7pm.
Former Brewer Yuni Betancourt has
signed a contract to play baseball in Japan next season for the Orix
Buffaloes. Former Brewers Nyjer Morgan
is back in the United States. He played in Japan last season and signed with
the Cleveland Indians earlier this month.
