The Brewers blanked the Reds 2-0 on Tuesday night at Miller Park.  Starter Wily Peralta had the best start of his career,  giving up just three hits and striking out six in the complete game shutout.  It’s the first complete game thrown by a Brewers pitcher since April of 2011.  That’s over 400 games.  Logan Schafer hit his first career homer in the win.  Ryan Braun returned to the lineup and went 1×3.  The series wraps up today as Johnny Hellweg takes on Mike Leake. Coverage begins at 12:35pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

Braun Silent

Multiple reports say that Brewers slugger Ryan Braun met with Major League Baseball officials regarding his alleged tie to the lab in Miami that has reportedly supplied PEDs to players.  Yahoo! And ESPN both report that Braun refused to answer any questions regarding the clinic when he met with them late last month.  Other players who’s names are linked to the lab also reportedly didn’t answer questions as well.  Reports say Braun could be suspended as many as 100 games after the All-Star Break.
