With the trade
deadline swirling, a few big name pitchers are on the block. The Red Sox have scratched Jon Lester from
his start today with a deal possibly on the horizon.
After taking
Tuesday off the Packers are back on the practice field this morning.
The breakdown of
Jordy Nelson’s new four-year, $39 million dollar contract extension have been
released. The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports Nelson will be worth $14.75
million dollars in the first year of the extension and then about $7.25 million
each of the final 3 years. His signing bonus was $11.5 million dollars.
