5-2 on Tuesday night.   Zach Davies
pitched into the seventh giving up just two runs to earn the win.  Jeremy Jeffress notched save #23 on the
season with a scoreless 9th frame. 
The series wraps up this afternoon as Matt Garza takes on Tanner Roark.

Brewers catcher Jonathan
Lucroy has been named as a reserve on the National League All-Star Team for next
week’s game in San Diego.   Outfielder Ryan Braun is one of five players
that could earn a spot on the roster after an internet vote that runs through
Friday afternoon. 

 

The Bucks begin play in the
Las Vegas Summer League on Friday when they take on Cleveland
This year’s roster includes both draft picks from this year, Thon Maker
and Malcom Brogdon.  Last year’s #1 pick
Rashad Vaughn is also on the team.  As is
former Badger big man Jared Berggren.

 

Former Marquette star Dwyane Wade cancelled a meeting
today with the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks and the future Hall of Famer were set
to talk about the free agent possibly coming to Milwaukee.

 

A pair of Wisconsin Badger
are on the preseason watch list for college football awards. Linebacker Vince
Biegel is on the radar for the Bednarik Award which goes to college football’s
top defensive player. Running back Corey Clement is on the watch list for the
Maxwell Award which is given to the top player in college football.

quarterback Danny Vanden Boom has announced he will play college football at
the University of
Wisconsin

on Tuesday night at Herr-Baker Field.
