The Cardinals scored a pair
of runs in the first and 7^th and put up five runs in the 8^th
to beat the Brewers 10-3 on Tuesday night at Miller Park.  Chris Carpenter went 4×5 with 2 RBI and 4
runs scored to help Mike Leake pick up the win. 
Wily Peralta took the loss. 
Jonathan Lucroy hit his 9^th home run of the season for Milwaukee.  The series wraps up this afternoon as Zach
Davies takes on Jaime Garcia.  Coverage

Thursday night as Golden State hosts Cleveland
in a rematch of last year’s finals.  The
Warriors won last year’s NBA Championship series in six games.

The St.
Mary’s Springs boys golf team advanced to the WIAA State Tournament by winning
the Division Three Sectional at Blackwolf Run on Tuesday.  The Ledgers Brady Sarauer was the meet
medalist with a 73.  Winnebago Lutheran’s
Chris Colla won WIAA Division Two Sectional with a 75 at The Bull at Pinehurst
Farms. The Vikings team finished 4^th.   Fond du Lac
finished 8^th at the Division One Sectional at Rolling Meadows. Elliot Nielsen paced Fondy
with an 80.
