The Brewers bullpen couldn’t
hold down Oakland
in a 5-3 loss on Tuesday night.  Jimmy
Nelson gave up just 1 run and six hits in five solid innings, but the bull pen
gave up four runs in the 6th and 7th frames.  Will Smith got hung with the loss.  Ryan Braun and Aaron Hill each collected a
couple of hits at the plate.  The Brewers
and A’s wrap up their quick two game set this afternoon.  Coverage begins at 2pm on KFIZ.  Junior Guerra gets the start for The
Crew.

The NBA Draft is set for
Thursday night and the trade winds are swirling around the Bucks.  One report says the Boston Celtics are
dangling the #3 overall pick in the draft in front of Milwaukee for Khris Middleton.  Center Greg Monroe is also said to be on the
trading block.   The Bucks have the 10th
pick in the first round and a pair of 2nd round picks.  The Philadelphia
76ers hold the #1 spot.

 

The Bucks have officially
announced a contract extension for head coach Jason Kidd.  The team has called a press conference for
Thursday to confirm that Kidd will remain in Milwaukee through the 2019-2020 season.

 

The Bucks also announced they
will open up play in the Las Vegas Summer League on July 8th against
the Cavaliers. 

 

The city of Cleveland will celebrate their first major
sports championship in 52 years today to honor the Cleveland Cavaliers.  Cleveland’s
last major sports title came in 1964 when the Browns won the NFL Championship.

 

Argentina beat the United States
2-0 in the semifinals of the Copa America Tournament on Tuesday night in HoustonArgentina
will face the winner of tonight’s matchup between Chile
and Colombia.  Team USA will face the loser in the 3rd
place game.

 

Rory McIroy has announced
that he will not complete in the Olympic golf tournament in Brazil this
summer because of the Zika virus.

 

Madison continues to get ready for the American Family
Insurance Championship.  It’s the first
year of the Champions Tour event at University Ridge hosted by Steve Stricker.  The first round tees off on Friday morning.

 

The American Legion Post 75
baseball teams picked up a pair of wins on Tuesday night.  The U17 squad stopped Appleton 4-3 with Jack Cole notching the
victory.  The U19 team scored six in the
first inning to win 8-2.
