 Ryan Zimmerman’s two run homer off of Mike
Fiers in the 16th inning lifted Washington past the Brewers 4-2 on Tuesday
night. Ryan Braun drove in the Brewers only two runs on the night in the 5th
inning.   The 5 hour and 22 minute game
didn’t finish up until early this morning.  
The series wraps up this afternoon as Marco Estrada takes on Stephen
Strasburg.  Coverage begins at 12:35pm on

LeBron James’
agent tells the Miami Heat that he will opt out of his current contract. The
four-time MVP will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st.   The Heat have gone to the NBA Finals each of
James’ four seasons in Miami,
winning two titles.

 

The NBA Draft is
on Thursday night.  The Bucks will pick 2nd,
which means they will end up with Kansas
Andrew Wiggins or Dukes Jabari Parker with their 1st selection.  They also have three 2nd round
picks, which could be packaged with a veteran such as Ersan Ilyasova to gets
another first round pick.

has released their All-Conference Teams for the spring sports season.  In baseball, freshman Reggie Hernandez makes
the first team at second base.  Junior
catcher Blaine Evans gets a 2nd team nod, while senior outfielder
Devin Simon and senior DH Dan Pichette were Honorable Mention

 

In Softball, outfielder
MaKenna Mitchell, infielder Hannah Grahl, pitcher Andra O’Brien, and utility
player Taylor Rushing all get Honorable Mention All-FVA spots.
