Former Wisconsin Badger Basketball star Frank Kaminsky will undergo minor surgery to fix a pocket of air between his lung and chest wall. His recovery should take six weeks. He played in 81 games for the Charlotte Hornets this past season averaging 7.5 points and 4.1 rebounds a game.

The architect of the Chicago Bears Super Bowl winning defense died Tuesday. Buddy Ryan was 85-years-old. Ryans 46 defense smothered opponents offenses in 1985 and lead to win over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 20. He also was a head coach for the Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Oilers.
