The NFL made the longer
extra-point permanent.  Last season they
pushed the snap for the extra-point to the 15-yard line.  They also outlawed all forms of the chop
block.

 

The Rockies
edged the Brewers 6-5 on Tuesday in Cactus League action.  Taylor Jungmann gave up six runs and six hits
in 4 and a third innings of work.  The
Brewers take today off and then face the Royals on Thursday.

 

Chris Abaray has been hired
as the new boys basketball coach replacing Kris Saiberlich who resigned after
the season.  Abarary had been the head
coach at Alta-Aurelia Community High School
in Iowa.  He is relocated to the area with his wife who
was recently named Athletic Director at Lawrence University.  We’ll hear from Coach Abaray tomorrow morning
on The Breakfast Club.    North Fondy
