Bucks win at buzzer

The Milwaukee Bucks trailed by 12 points with five minutes ago but somehow found their way back into Tuesday night’s game against the Miami Heat, sealing the victory with a buzzer beater from Khris Middleton to win the game. The Bucks pulled off the improbable 89-86 victory and improved to 35-36 on the season. It was an important win to keep them in the 6th seed in the Eastern Conference, and they are now 2 1/2 games ahead of Miami for that spot. The Bucks host the Pacers on Thursday night. 

Badgers in L.A.

The Wisconsin Badgers have arrived in Los Angeles in preparation for their game Thursday night against North Carolina. Tip is set for 6:45pm, with the coverage on KFIZ to start at 5:30pm. The status of Wisconsin’s Traevon Jackson and North Carolina’s Kennedy Meeks and if either will play Thursday remains unclear. 

Brewers Win

The Brewers pounded out 13 hits en route to a 12-0 win over the D-backs on Tuesday night at Salt River Fields. Brewers shortstop Jean Segura went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, Brewers starting pitcher Michael Blazek, allowed just one hit and a pair of walks while striking out four over four innings.

Guion cleared

The criminal case against Green Bay Packers free-agent nose tackle Letroy Guion was closed Tuesday, according to his agent. Guion won’t be prosecuted, and thus will not face probation or have a criminal record from his Feb. 3 arrest in Starke, Fla.  He was pulled over for a failure to maintain a single lane, at which point police found 357 grams of marijuana, a registered gun and $190,028.81 in cash.
