Golden State sharpshooter Steph Curry was named the NBA’s MVP for
the 2nd straight year.  Curry
becomes to first player in league history to be unanimously voted MVP,
collecting every 1st place vote.

 

Marquette’s Henry Ellenson and Wisconsin’s
Nigel Hayes will be among 70+ players taking part in the NBA’s draft combine in
Chicago over
the next few days.  Ellenson has signed
with an agent and must go pro.  Hayes has
not signed an agent and can return to the Badgers if he so chooses.

Sheboygan North boys basketball coach Tom Desotell announced his retirement on
Tuesday.  The 73-year-old was 646-241 in
39 seasons on the bench for the Golden Raiders.
