The Bucks won their 2nd
straight game with an 85-78 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday
night.  OJ Mayo came off the bench to
score 19. Giannis added 14 points and 9 rebounds.  Milwaukee
didn’t win two games in a row all of last season. The Bucks travel to Orlando on Friday night.

 

The Wisconsin Badger
football team hosts 11th ranked Nebraska
on Saturday at Camp
Randall
.  The Badgers and Huskers are tied with Iowa and Minnesota
on top of the Big Ten West with 4-1 records.

The College Football Playoff
Rankings have Mississippi State at #1, followed by Oregon,
Florida State, and TCU. The top 4 teams on
December 7th will take part in the first ever college football playoffs.  The Badgers are #20.

 

The Packers jump back on the
practice field today as they get ready for the Philadelphia Eagles at
Lambeau.  The Packers are 6-3 while the
Eagles lead the NFC East with a 7-2 mark.

The Fond du Lac girls volleyball team has placed
one player on the All-FVA team. 
Sophomore outside hitter Megan Krupp was named Honorable Mention
all-league.  In girls swimming and
diving,  Senior Courtney Stubbe was name
Honorable Mention in the 100 freestyle, while junior diver Maddy Corbin also garnered Honorable Mention status.  In
girls tennis, Fondy senior Nicole Feltz was 1st team All-FVA at #1
singles, while sophomore Toni Winkler was Honorable Mention at #4 singles.

 

A pair of unbeatens will
meet in Stevens Point
on Friday night with a trip to the WIAA Division Six State Football
Championship.  St. Mary’s Springs will
battle Athens.  Both teams are 12-0.  The WIAA has moved the kickoff time to 8pm on
Friday night to accommodate a D4 semifinal that was moved the venue with a 5pm
start.  Coverage now  begins at 7pm with the Tim Cruz Agency
American Family Insurance Pregame Show.

The Wisconsin Football
Coaches Association have released their 2014 All-Region Teams Fond du Lac is
well represented in the Northeast Region. 
Defensive lineman Robert Windsor, WR Brian Luteyn, and offensive lineman
Peter Andrew and Aaron Wehner all made the squad.  In the South-Central Region St. Mary’s Springs
had three players honored in kicker Zach Hintze, defensive back Anthony Grebe,
and offensive linemen Dominic Belisle.  Laconia punter Noah Greve
also made the All-South-Central Region team. 
Campbellsport offensive lineman Aaron Hepp was also named to the
East-Central All-Region Team.

Marian University sophomore Volleyball player Jessica Roberts was
named 1st team All-NACC.  The Oshkosh native is the
first Sabre volleyball player to garner 1st team honors since 2010.
