The Bucks held on to beat the New York Knicks 117-113 last
night at the BMO Harris Bradley
Center
.  The Knicks trailed by 26 in the 3rd
quarter but cut that lead to 2 points late. 
Ersan Ilyasova led the way with 20 points.  Milwaukee
is over the .500 mark at 6-5 for the first time since March of 2013.  They travel to Brooklyn
tonight.

 

#20 Ohio State held off Marquette
74-63 last night in Columbus.  Steve Taylor led the Golden Eagles with 20.

 

The Badger men’s basketball team hosts UW-Green
Bay tonight at the Kohl Center.  Coverage begins at 7pm with the tip set for
8pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

 

The Marian men’s basketball team hosts Ripon College
tonight in their home opener.  The Sabres
dropped their season opener at Beloit
College
last
weekend.  Ripon is 1-2 after losing an
exhibition at UW-Green

, beating UW-Stout,
and falling at UW-Platteville this past weekend.  The tip is set for 7pm at the Sadoff Gym.

 

The Packers get back on the practice field today as they get
ready for a trip to MinnesotaGreen Bay

42-10 back on October 2nd at Lambeau.  With the Metrodome demolished, the Vikings

It looks like Viking running back Adrian Peterson’s season
is over. An arbitrator ruled that the league can keep him on the Commissioner’s
exempt list despite him clearing up his legal problems stemming from a child
abuse case.

 

The Badger football team makes their final road trip of the
season on Saturday as they head to Iowa.  The Badgers lead the Big Ten West with a 5-1
record.  Iowa is a game back at 4-2.  Saturday’s game kicks off at 2:30pm with
pregame coverage set for 12:30pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

 

The Big Ten has set the kickoff time for the Badgers regular
season finale against Minnesota at Camp Randall
on November 29th for 2:30pm.

ready for the Division Six State Football Championship Game on Thursday.  The Ledgers (13-0) will take on Darlington (12-1) on Thursday at 1pm in the Division Six

The 2014 All-Flyway Conference Football Team has been
announced.  Making the 1st
team offense from St. Mary’s Springs were; guard Dominic Belisle, tackle Matt Bussee
and running back Sam Spranger.  At
receiver WLA’s Mitch McFarlane and Laconia’s
Brettt Wittchow were also 1st team all-league. On defense six
Ledgers make the team; defensive backs Antony Grebe and Zach Hintze, defensive
linemen Luke Walber and Dominic Belisle, and linebackers Mark Austin and Alec
Strigenz.  Ledger kicker Zach Hintze and Laconia punter Noah Greve
are also first team All-Flyway.  KML’s
Jared Henning was the Offensive Player of the Year, while St. Mary’s Springs
