WFCA All-State

A pair of St. Mary’s Springs football players have made the Wisconsin
Football Coaches Association All-State Team. 
Senior offensive lineman Sam Schrauth and senior running back Ike Floyd
both get a nod to the first team.  Laconia defensive lineman
Nick Zimmerman and Chilton offensive lineman Vinnie Propson both garnered
Honorable Mention honors.   Xavier
quarterback Matt Ferris was announced as the Offensive Player of the Year while
Mukwonago linebacker Dominic Cizauskas was named Defensive Player of the Year.

 

The Oakfield football team was well represented on the Great
8 South All-Conference Team.  Senior
running back Taylor Schaefer was first team at running back and
linebacker.  Brett Panzer was 1st
team on the offensive line and Griffin Anderson was first team on the defensive
line.  Schaefer was Co-Player of the Year
in the conference.

 

Record Night For Kaminsky

Frank Kaminsky set a school record with 43 points as the
Badgers blew by North Dakota 103-85 last night
at the Kohl Center
Kaminsky broke Michael Finley’s record of 42 in 1994 by going 16 of 19
from the field including 6-6 from three-point range.  Sam Dekker added 19 in the win.  The Badgers also eclipsed the 100 point mark
for the first time since 1995.   Wisconsin will play Bowling
Green
on Thursday night.
