The World Series could be set
by the end of the day today.  In the
National League Championship Series, the New York Mets took a 3-0 series lead
with a 5-2 win over the Cubs at Wrigley Field on Tuesday night.  Daniel Murphy hit another home run for the
Mets in the win.  Game 4 of the series is
set for 7:07pm tonight.  In the American
League Championship Series, the Royals took a 3-1 series lead with 14-2 win
over the Blue Jays.  It got so bad that Toronto sent utility
infielder Cliff Pennington out to pitch the 9th.  Game 5 of that series is this afternoon at
3:07pm in Canada.

The Bucks stopped Minnesota 108-88 in a preseason game at the Kohl Center
in Madison last
night.  Khris Middleton had 17 and
Michael Carter Williams 16 in the win.  The Bucks will play the Timberwolves again on
Friday night.

Badger running back Corey
Clement took live hits at practice for the first time since having sports
hernia surgery last month.  His status
for Saturday’s game at Illinois
is up in the air.  Saturday’s kickoff is
set for 2:30pm.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.
