The Brewers swallow another
tough loss on Tuesday night 6-3 to Miami at Miller Park.  The Brewers loaded the bases with nobody out
in the 8^th and failed to score a run, then in 9^th
Francisco Rodriguez gave up three runs on homers to Casey McGehee and Marcell
Ozuna to lose.  The series continues

The Brewers still  6 games behind St. Louis
in the N.L. Central and are tied with Atlanta,
1.5 games behind Pittsburgh
for the final N.L. Wild Card slot.  The
Reds beat St. Louis 9-5, Philadelphia
stopped Pittsburgh
4-3, and the Cubs were 9-2 losers to the Blue Jays.

 

The Packers get back on the
practice field today as they get ready for the New York Jets on Sunday at
Lambeau Field.  The team hopes to have TE
Brandon Bostick, RT Brian Bulaga, and RB Eddie Lacy available as all are
battling injuries.  Sunday’s kickoff is

The United States rallied to be Slovenia 119-76
to advance to the Semifinals of the FIBA Basketball World Cup.  Team USA
will play Lithuania
on Thursday.

 

St. Mary’s Springs grad Pat
Steffes won the Wisconsin PGA Professional Championship in Eau Claire. 
Steffes won by 1 shot and earns a spot in the 2015 PGA Professional
National Championship. 

 

The Fond du Lac football team moved up to #3 in
this week’s Wissports.net Division One High School Football Coaches Poll.  Kimberly is ranked #1 and Germantown #2.   St. Mary’s Springs holds steady in the D6

Cross Country

Campbellsport competed in the Markesan Cross Country Invitational
tonight.  The boy’s team finished 3rd.  The Cougars had 3 runners in
the top ten.  Levi Feucht was 5th, Chase Lindgren 6th, and Casey Ruplinger
7th.  The Cougar girls finished 4th.  Toni Hundertmark was 6th, and
Ellen Hodny placed 15th.
