WIAA Boys Basketball Regionals – March 6th, 2015

The Neenah
boys basketball team advanced to the Regional Final with a 70-44 win over Fond du Lac at the Ron
Einerson Field House on Friday night. 
The 2nd seeded Rockets never trailed in the game as they led
19-12 after one quarter and 31-21 at the break. 
Marquette recruit Matt Heldt led Neenah with 20
points.  Ty Hegg added 13.  The Rockets hit 10 three-pointers on the night.  Senior Marcus Ruch paced Fondy with 9. Fellow senior Brian Luteyn added 8 including
an 80 foot heave at the end of the 1st half.  The Cardinals season ends at (6-17). Neenah (19-4) will host
Oshkosh North 16-7) in the Regional Final on Saturday night.  The tip is set for 7pm.

The St. Mary’s Springs boys
basketball team stopped Markesan 69-59 in a Division Four Semifinal on Friday
night at the Hutter Gym.  Cory Nies had
17, Austin Feyen 15, and Collin Ottery 13 for the Ledgers.  St. Mary’s
Springs (17-6) will travel to #1 seed Oshkosh Lourdes (21-2) in the Regional Final
on Saturday night.  You’ll hear that game
