Division 1 Sectionals (At Slinger HS):

Fond du Lac High School Wrestlers:


138 Pounds: Logan Naker loses to Emmanuel Garrison-Hooks of West Bend East by a 12-8 decision


152 Pounds: Colin Athanasiou defeats Cooper Schlosser of West Bend East by a 9-6 decision, loses to Adam Beine of Slinger by a pin in 1:05, then loses to Dalton Holmes of Oshkosh North in the wrestlebacks by a 15-13 decision.


170 Pounds: Austin Baatz loses to Jose Acosta of Manitowoc Lincoln by a 14-2 major decision.


182 Pounds: Adam Hopper loses to Anthony Schlass of West Bend West by a tech fall in 2:49.


195 Pounds: Colton Wasieleski places second at 195 pounds and qualifies for state. Wasieleski defeats Frankie Carruthers of Sheboygan South and Tristan Griswold of Port Washington before losing to Joe Leonhardt of West Bend West in the championship match. He defeated Ben Salzman of Oshkosh North in the wrestlebacks by a 21-5 tech fall to take 2nd place.


220 Pounds: Chase Krug places 3rd at 220 pounds. Krug defeated Jack Pluta of Germantown and lost to Wyatt Wells of Beaver Dam. In the wrestlebacks, Krug defeated Griffin Kintopf of Oshkosh West before losing to 2nd place finisher Andrew Temmer of Cedarburg by a 10-2 major decision.


285 Pounds: Donte Johnson is the sectional champion at 285 pounds and qualifies for state. Johnson defeated Cody Lewis of Port Washington, Ricky Ruel of Beaver Dam, and Quinn Meinerz of Hartford to win the title at 285.


WIAA Division 2 Sectional (At Milwaukee Lutheran)

Individual Results:


106 Pounds: Tyler Garriety is the sectional champion at 106 pounds and qualifies for state. Garriety defeated Tommy Larson of East Troy by a 13-2 major decision to win the title.


120 Pounds: Cade Heisdorf of Campbellsport is the sectional champion and qualifies for state. Heisdorf defeated Miguel Sanson of Delavan-Darien by a 9-7 decision.


145 Pounds: Bennett Marchant of Campbellsport places 2nd and qualifies for state. Marchant defeated Lomira’s Colin Saegert by a 4-2 decision in the 2nd place match to qualify.


152 Pounds: Chase Parr of Lomira is the sectional champion and qualifies for state. Parr defeated Bryce Morgan of Cedar Grove-Belgium by an 8-3 decision to qualify.


170 Pounds: Carter Veleke of Waupun is the sectional champion and qualifies for state. Veleke defeated Nick Rapp of Grafton by a pin in 1:03 to advance.


182 Pounds: Matt Koelbel of Campbellsport places 2nd and qualifies for state. Koelbel defeated Jimmy DuVal of Whitewater by a 4-1 decision to advance.


195 Pounds: Collin Feucht of Lomira is the sectional champion and qualifies for state. Feucht defeated Chris Storandt of East Troy by a 5-1 decision to advance.


220 Pounds: Allan Klink of Lomira places 2nd and qualifies for state. Klink defeated Tucker Bender of Ripon by a 13-1 major decision to advance.


285 Pounds: Adam Kinyon of Lomira places 2nd and qualifies for state.


Division 3 Sectionals (At Dodgeland HS):


Individual Results:


126 Pounds: Zachary Foth of Laconia places 2nd and qualifies for state. Foth wins over Josh Schuh of Reedsville by a pin in 1:25 to advance


160 Pounds: Zach Coffeen of Laconia places 2nd and qualifies for state.


182 Pounds: Ethan Hopp of Laconia places 2nd and qualifies for state. Hopp pinned Stephen Schostok of Kenosha Christian Life in :32 seconds to advance.
