WIAA Track & Field Regionals – 5/20/19

WIAA Track & Field Regionals:

Division 1 – at West Bend East:

The Fond du Lac Boys and Girls Track & Field teams each took second place at the West Bend East Regional, with the boys scoring 135 team points and the girls scoring 152.5.

Girls 4X800 Relay team places fourth – 11:16.05

Boys 4×800 Relay Team places fourth – 8:52.85

Girls 100 meter hurdles – Sydney Arndt takes first place, Brooke McDowell places third to both qualify for sectionals

Boys 100 meter dash – Eben Sauer places fourth (11.61) to qualify for sectionals

Girls 1,600 meter run – Ally Schmitz places third, Madison Hughes places fourth to qualify for sectionals

Boys 1,600 meter run – Isaac Hayes places fourth to qualify for sectionals

Girls 4×200 meter relay team places second to qualify for sectionals

Boys 4×200 meter relay team places second

Girls 400 meter dash – Jaimie Deschand places second

Boys 4×100 meter relay team places second

Girls 300 meter hurdles – Brook McDowell takes first place, Sydney Arndt takes second place

Boys 300 meter hurdles – David McArthur places fourth

Girls 800 meter run – Ally Schmitz places third, Sarah Schaefer places fourth

Girls 200 meter dash – Jenna Roth places fourth

Girls 3,200 meter run – Madison Hughes takes first place (12:12.16)

Girls 4×400 meter relay team takes second place

Boys Discus – Andrew Stone – first place – 196’7” (Breaks his own record). Elijah Diederich placed fourth 135’00”

Boys Shot Put – Andrew Stone takes first place – 68’07”, Elijah Diederich places fourth 48’03”

Girls Long Jump – Sydney Arndt takes second place

Boys Pole Vault – Dylan Sieloff places first (13-00.00), Carter Adelmeyer takes third place (12-00.00)

Boys Triple Jump – Igia Moua places first (42-01.00), Cole Siegworth places third (40-10.00)

Girls Discus Throw – Gianna Trotter takes first place (129-07), Sydney Pietrie places third (109-10)

Boys High Jump – David McArthur places first (6-00.00)

Division Two Regional – at Ripon:

Waupun boys placed first with 154 team points, Kewaskum second (140.5), Ripon third (103.5), North Fond du Lac fourth (73), Mayville fifth (70.5), Laconia sixth (61.5), Campbellsport seventh (55), Lomira eighth (37)

Mayville took first place for the girls side at the Ripon Regional – the Cardinals scored 144 team points, with Kewaskum placing second (141), Laconia third (107.5), Ripon fourth (79), Waupun fifth (77), Lomira sixth (75), Campbellsport seventh (46.5), North Fond du Lac eighth (14).

Division Two Regional – at New Holstein:

Kiel placed first in both boys and girls team results – the boys scoring 170 points, the girls 181. The Chilton boys placed seventh (44), New Holstein boys placing eighth (38). The Chilton girls placed fifth (60.5), New Holstein girls placed sixth (43.5)

Division Three Regional – at Hilbert:

The St. Mary’s Springs girls took first place – scoring 154.5 team points. Winnebago Lutheran placed fourth on the girls side with 79 points. The WLA boys took first place in the team standings with 148 points, St. Mary’s Springs placed second on the boys side with 139 points.

Division Three Regional – at Pardeeville:

Central Wisconsin Christian girls placed seventh with 56.5 team points, Oakfield girls placed 10th with 27. The CWC boys placed 10th (11 points), the Oakfield boys placed 11th with six team points.
