WIAC Cancels Most Fall Sports for Upcoming School Year

Like its counterparts in the NACC, Midwest Conference and CCIW, the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has cancelled most
fall sports for the upcoming school year.

The WIAC announced late Monday that conference seasons and
championships in football, women’s soccer, women’s volleyball and men’s and
women’s cross country will be canceled for the 2020-2021 school year. The conference
announced that women’s tennis and women’s golf will be suspended for the fall,
and will be moved to the spring semester.

A news release says that member schools will be able to
establish practice or workout opportunities for fall athletes that are within
NCAA and local health department guidelines.
