WLA Boys Down North Fondy in D3 Playoffs

Winnebago Lutheran rolled by North Fond du Lac
65-50 in the opening round of the WIAA Division Three Regional Boys Basketball
Tournament on Tuesday night.  The Vikings
jumped out to a 15-5 lead after the first quarter and never trailed in the
game.  Senior Will Aird scored 11 of his
18 points in the 2^nd quarter. 
Mitch McFarlane added 14 for WLA. 
Senior Jacob Klappa had a game high 22 points for North Fondy.  The Orioles season ends at 5-18.  WLA (14-9) will travel to Rosendale for a
Regional Semifinal on Friday night against Laconia.  That tip is set for 7pm.
