Alan E. Perry

Alan E. Perry, 81, of North Fond du Lac passed away at St. Agnes Hospital on Sunday, September 15, 2013.  Alan was born on July 16, 1932 in Fond du Lac, a son of Bert and Margaret (La Valle) Perry.

He attended Rosendale High School.

Alan was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Fond du Lac.

Alan enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He served in the United States Air Force from October 1952 to October 1956 and was then employed at International Paper for 39 years.

Alan is survived by his wife Marlene (Chapman) Perry, one daughter Paula (David) Hass of Van Dyne, and a son David (friend Craig Salvas) of Washington DC; two grandchildren, Ashley Hass and Joshua (Casey) Hass of Van Dyne; one sister Elaine (Harvey) Daane of Markesan, one brother Gordon of Waupun; sisters-in-law, Agnes Perry, Patricia (Ambrose) Loecher, Janet (Eugene) Miller and Myrna (Eugene) Balson. Alan will be missed by his favorite naptime pet, Snowball.

Preceding Alan in death was his daughter Shirley on October 21, 2011; his parents; two brothers, Donald and James and by two sisters Maureen and Marilyn.

Visitation: Family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1010 Adams Ave. North Fond du Lac, from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM.

Service: Funeral Services will be held at the church at 12:00 Noon.  Pastors Thomas Behnke and Michael Kampman will officiate.  Cremation will follow with entombment in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
