Albert “Al” R. Tremblay
Albert “Al” R. Tremblay, 78,
of North Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at
He was born on March 26,
1938, in
Lavoie Tremblay.
On September 14, 1979, he
married Katherine Loose-Augustine in
du Lac
Al retired as a truck driver
from Sadoff Iron and Metal after twenty-three years. He took a brief break and went back to truck
driving with
Express, part-time, for twelve years.
Al’s favorite pastime was being outdoors, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed playing cribbage. Flanagan’s Pearl Lake Campsite was Al’s
second home.
He is survived by his wife,
Kathy; a sister, Doris Arpin of
(Michelle) Loose, and Randy Loose; and two sisters-in-law: Carol (special friend, Jimmy) Loose and
Michelle (Jon) Matteson. Al had a son
and daughter from his first marriage, Richard Tremblay and Debbie
Tremblay. When Al married Kathy, Al
became a loving father to four children:
Tracy (Dwight) Pergande, Terry (Randy) Pearce, Travis (Angie) Augustine,
and Tina (Brian) Huelsman. Al is also
survived by six grandchildren: Deon
Birschbach, Casidee Birschbach, Blake Conwell, Emily (Ian) Arthur, Colby
(fiancée, Claire) Pearce, and Samantha (special friend, Jaycon) Augustine; and
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by
his parents; his father and mother-in-law, Eugene Sr. and Lucille Loose; and
many brothers and sisters.
A special thank you from Al’s
family to the staff at St. Agnes Hospital Fifth Floor South for the love and
care they gave to Al.
VISITATION: The visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00
p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016,
at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel
& Crematory,
Street
FUNERAL SERVICE: The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m.
on Saturday at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory with Deacon Dale
Paczkowski officiating.
Cremation will follow
traditional services.
