Alice M. Krebsbach

Alice M.
Krebsbach, 88, a resident of Fond du Lac, passed away on August 17, 2015 at St.
Francis Nursing Home.  Alice was born
August 22, 1926 in St. Cloud, WI to the late Joseph and Leona (Voelker) Abler.

On October
1, 1949 she married August Krebsbach at St. Claudius Church in St. Cloud. They
had celebrated their golden anniversary in 1999.

After
graduating from New Holstein High School, she went to work at Northwestern
Mutual Life in Milwaukee and then worked at Damrow, Inc in Fond du Lac.

She enjoyed
bowling, volunteering for Meals on Wheels and Loaves and Fishes and helping as
a teacher’s aide and playground monitor at St. Patrick’s School. She was an
active member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Knights of Columbus
Ladies Auxiliary. Alice and Gus were very active in the consolidation of St.
Patrick’s Church into Holy Family Parish.

Survivors
include a son, Daniel (Becky) Krebsbach of Redgranite; a daughter, Mary Kaye
(Richard) Cerney of DePere; two grandsons, Kyle and Ross Krebsbach of Redgranite;
two granddaughters, Rebecca (Bryon) Bechtel of Appleton and Nicole (John)
Wauters of Green Bay; numerous great-grandchildren. She is further survived by
a sister, Arlene Abler of Fond du Lac; a brother, Larry Abler, OFMCap;
brother-in-law, Herman (Carol) Krebsbach of Darboy; sister-in-law, Betty Pitzen
of California and a very special sister-in-law, Geneva Krebsbach of Fond du
Lac.

She is
preceeded in death by her husband Gus; brother, Cyril; sister, Virgie;
brother-in-law, Harold Baus and her parents.

Visitation
The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Francis Home
Chapel, 33 Everett Street in Fond du Lac, on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 1:00
PM to 1:45 PM.

Service
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 19,
2015 at 2:00PM in the St. Francis Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at the
Chapel of the Risen Christ, Calvary Mausoleum.

Memorials
can be directed to Holy Family Parish or St. Francis Home Employees’ Appreciation
Fund.

A special
heartfelt thank-you from her family for the care given to her from Dr. Sergi,
the nursing staff at St. Francis Nursing Home and Agnesian Hospice Hope.
