Amerie S. Quick

Amerie S. Quick, née Becker, age 41, of Chilton, died on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. She was born April 30, 1975 in Denver, CO, daughter of Terez (Fahy) & Robert Becker.

Amerie was a woman full of life who loved to laugh and make new friends anywhere she went. With her warm personality and kind smile, it never took Amerie long to win over a person whom she had just met.

In moments of her free time, Amerie enjoyed tending to her flowers, making her house more warm by decorating, and trying out a new recipe for mealtime. She appreciated moments to watch a movie, work on a jigsaw puzzle, or listen to music, and although some would say it wasn’t her strong suit, she danced.

Above all things, Amerie loved people, especially children. She held a special relationship with her niece, Calley and adored her son and cherished every moment of being a mom.

Survivors include her father: Robert (Patricia) Becker; her mother: Terez Fahy; her step-father: Kevin McConeghey; step grandparents: Marge & Bernie Gau; her son: Jackson; a brother: Ethan Becker and his significant other, Tonia Hein; step-brother: Eric (Jamie) Plate; step-sister: Mandie (John) May; nieces & nephews: Calley Becker, Zoe & Ali Hein, Kaleb & Aubrey Plate, Michael & Evan May; a very close aunt: Catherine Fahy; a dear cousin: Toni Jacaruso; and other aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.

Amerie was preceded in death by her grandparents: Jim & Marge Fahy and Don & Lucile Becker; and a niece: Halley Becker.

Funeral service will be at 5:00 pm on Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Monday, October 3, 2016.
