Angeline Porfilio “Angie” Hephner

Angeline Porfilio “Angie” Hephner, age 74, of Chilton, died on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. She was born July 21, 1940 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Paul & Ida (Schmidt) Porfilio. She grew up in the Crivitz area until her marriage to Robert G. Hephner on August 9, 1958. It was at that time the couple moved to the Chilton area and farmed side by side in the Town of Rantoul until their retirement in the mid 80’s. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, formerly St. Augustine Parish where Angie was actively involved in the church wide rummage sale. She was a voracious reader and looked forward to family gatherings and time spent shopping with her children and grandchildren. In her younger years, Angie enjoyed time hunting with her husband Bob. Angie was always eager to plant and tend to her garden which was another great opportunity to illicit help from her children to hoe and pick weeds. The bountiful harvest, year after year, was often canned and saved for delicious home cooked meals throughout the year with her famous home made bread. Above all else, Angie treasured her children, grandchildren and great grandchild; there was nothing that brought her more joy than time spent with each and every one. Survivors include her children: Connie (Dan) Petermann of Brillion, Carmella Hephner of Virginia, Robert P. (Kim) Hephner of Chilton, Cathleen (Norbert) Brenner of Mt. Calvary, Christina (Jesse) Hildebrandt of New Holstein; grandchildren: Nicole (Glen) Wirth, Laura Petermann, Adam Petermann and his fiancee Amanda Spatchek, Shandell, Lance & Marianna Hephner, Kelly & Steven Brenner, Maria Brenner & her Special Friend, Tyler Berenz, Joshua & Meghan Hildebrandt; a great-grandchild: Kaden Wirth; a sister: Grace (Carl) Christensen; a brother: Richard Porfilio; and a good friend: Sheila Hephner. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Angie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother: Paul Porfilio, Jr. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E.
