Arleen C. Schultz

Arleen C. “Pickles” Schultz, 81, of Waucousta passed away Sunday, September 16, 1018 at her home with her beloved family gathered around her. 

She was born on August 27, 1937 in Barton the daughter of Frank and Eleanor Gengler. She was raised in Barton and graduated from West Bend High School. On September 22, 1956, Arleen married Harold Schultz at St. Marys Immaculate Conception Church in Barton. They farmed in the Town of Osceola, she worked at Barton Washer and Reliable Knitting and drove school bus for many years. 

She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Parish in Eden and active in the women’s groups at the parish. Arleen was a great cook and enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren’s activities especially softball, gardening, cranberry fest and going to Arizona in the Spring. 

Arleen is survived by her husband Harold, daughter Maxine (Mark) Hahn, sons Mike (Sandi) Schultz and Mark (special friend Gayle Drehmel) Schultz, grandchildren Erin (special friend David Wege) Schultz, Joe (Katie) Schultz and Peter Schultz, great granddaughters Paige and Lexi Schultz, brothers Francis “Butch (Barb) Gengler and Ralph (Carla) Gengler, sister Carol Averill, sister-in-law Helen Leiknes, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Preceding her in death were her parents, daughter Mary, grandson Michael, sister Rosie (Norbert) Wickman, brothers-in-law Ralph Averill, Melvin (Dorothy) Schultz and Frank Schultz and sister-in-law Dorothy (Bob) Johnson. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 21st at 2:00 PM at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, 1562 County Rd B, Eden. 

Rev. Mark Jones will officiate and burial will be Saturday at 11:00 AM in Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac. 

Visitation will be Friday, September 21st from 12:00 PM until the time of Mass at Shepherd of the Hills Church. Memorials are appreciated to Shepherd of the Hills Parish or Heartland Hospice.
