Beatrice “Bea” Heideman

Beatrice “Bea” Heideman, 93, a resident of the Christian Home and Rehabilitation Center in Waupun, died Friday, April 5, 2013.

 

Bea was born July 2, 1919 in Randolph the daughter of Frank and Lucy Tamminga Aalsma.  On January 21, 1939 she married John J. Heideman in Dubuque, IA.  The couple farmed in Oak Center for 17 years and then moved to the Waupun area in 1965.  Bea was employed at Gysber’s Supermarket in Waupun for 20 years.  She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Waupun where she was a member of its Mary Martha Circle.  Bea helped out at the Senior Center and delivered Meals on Wheels.

 

Bea is survived by four sons, Willis James (Phyllis) Heideman of Mayville, Lee Heideman of Waupun, Kenneth (Rosemary) Heideman of Waupun, Jon Heideman (and special friend Patty) of North Fond du Lac; two daughters, Sharon Heideman of Waupun, and Kathleen Core of Waupun; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, John (Loretta) Aalsma of TX; three sisters, Georgianna Herrmann of Waupun, Irene TerBeest of Brandon, and Nina TeBeest of Waupun.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Heideman in 2001; three brothers; and two sisters.

 

Funeral services for Bea Heideman will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. at First Christian Reformed Church in Waupun with Rev. Norman Haan and Rev. Wick Hubers officiating.  Burial will follow at Alto Cemetery in Alto.  Friends and relatives of Bea Heideman may call on the family on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

 

Memorials may be directed to the Christian Home and Rehabilitation Center.  The family wishes to thank the staff for their love and care.
