Betty J. Bartelt

Betty J. Bartelt, 89 of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, August
19, 2014 at Grancare Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Betty was born on
September 20, 1924 in Monroe, Wisconsin and was the daughter of Arthur and
Marjorie Blumer Stubbe. Betty was a graduate of Goodrich High School Class of
1942.  After high school, Betty was an
employee of Rueping Leather Company for 14 years and continued on to be a full
time homemaker.   On October 27, 1947 she
married Gerald “Red” D. Bartelt in Fond du Lac. Gerald preceded her in death on
August 13, 1995. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and loved taking care of her
dog “Peanut”.  She was a member of Faith
Evangelical Lutheran Church.

SURVIVORS: Betty is survived by her son Brian (Corky)
Bartelt, Fond du Lac, two grandchildren, Jennifer (fiancé Cedric McFadden)
Bartelt, Oak Creek; Shawn (Lindsay) Bartelt and great grand-daughter (due in
October 2014), Sun Prairie; two brother-in-laws, Myron “Doc” (Mary Lou)
Bartelt, Fond du Lac and Roy Raduechel, Eagle. Betty is
further survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her
parents, husband, one sister Florence Hills and one brother Robert Stubbe.

VISITATION: Friends may call at Faith Lutheran Church, 55
North Prairie Road, Fond du Lac on Monday, August 25, 2014  from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. FUNERAL: Funeral
services will be held on Monday, August 25,2014 at 11:00 A.M. Reverend Michael
Weigand officiating. Burial will follow in Ledgeview Memorial Park.
