Beverley E. Fritz
Beverley E. Fritz, 90 of Fond du Lac passed away Mon. Sept. 21, 2015 at the Liberty House. She was born on March 3, 1925 in Madison, the daughter of Joseph W. and Irene Hazen Gallagher. Beverley graduated from Goodrich High School in 1943. On Jan. 8, 1947 Beverley married Willard Fritz at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. Willard preceded her in death on May 31, 1983. Beverley loved to walk and enjoy nature. Her hobbies were knitting and playing the piano, but her favorites were travelling to Ireland and Alaska.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include one daughter Mary Ericksen of Fond du Lac, and two sons: John Fritz of Wallace, ID and Jim (Marcia) Fritz of Beaver Dam, her seven grandchildren: Shawn, Benjamin, Josiah Ericksen, Daniel(Laura) Fritz, Jennifer(Jason) Peters, Andrew Fritz and Abby (Steve) Welch, three great grandchildren: Emily, Zachary Fritz and Annabella Sue Peters, one sister Virginia Fellman of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Willard, two sisters: Marilyn Dumas and Patricia(Doug) Ritchie, daughter-in-law Sue Fritz, brother-in-law Robert Fellman and great granddaughter Evelynn Peters.
A visitation will be held Tues. Sept. 29, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Twohig Funeral Home 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac with a Memorial Service at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with inurnment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac. The family extends a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Liberty House and Generations Hospice for their care and concern for Beverley during her illness.
