Bonita A. “Bonnie” Luteyn

Bonita A. “Bonnie” Luteyn,
90, of Madison, died Monday, October 20, 2014 at her residence at Oakwood Village
Retirement Home.

 

Bonnie was born February 1,
1924 in the town of Holland, Sheboygan County, WI, the daughter of Benjamin and
Anna Damkot Obrink.  In 1947, Bonnie
married John Luteyn.  Following their
marriage the couple moved to Waupun where they owned and operated Luteyn’s
Bakery for several years.  In 1971 they
moved to their home on Green Lake.  Due
to health reasons, Bonnie and John moved to Madison in 2007.  Bonnie was a charter member of Bethel
Christian Reformed Church in Waupun.

 

Bonnie is survived by two
daughters: Ann Dean of Albuquerque, NM, and Mary Luteyn of Madison; two sons:
John (Sandee) Luteyn of Fond du Lac, and Mike Luteyn of Oakland, CA; ten
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by
her husband, John Luteyn; two daughters, Jane and Linda Luteyn; a sister,
Dorothea Harmelink; and a brother, Earl Obrink.

 

A memorial service for Bonnie
Luteyn will be held Friday, October 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen
Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Jeff Brower officiating.  Friends and relatives of Bonnie Luteyn may
call on the family at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time
of service.
