Carl “Scot” O. Bergstrom

Carl “Scot” O. Bergstrom, 84, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Hospice Home of Hope.  He was born March 4, 1930 in Chicago, IL, the son of Carl and Alice Androwski Bergstrom.  On June 14, 1952 he married Petranella “Pat” C. Axelsen in Minneapolis, MN.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  Carl worked for Buick Motor Division for 30 years, retiring as assistant zone manager in 1987.  He was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church and he served as council president for six years.  Carl enjoyed gardening, fishing, Lake Winnebago and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Pat; one son, Daryl (Barb) Bergstrom, Appleton, WI; two daughters, Nadine Bergstrom and Lori (Jim) Sauceda, both of Wauwatosa,WI; four grandchildren, Kristen (Matt) Van Lieshout, Kronenwetter, WI, Eric (Eliza Benson) Bergstrom, Madison, WI, Jeimmy and Camilo Sauceda, both of Wauwatosa, WI; nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

VISITATION: Friends may call on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 9:30 – 11:00 am at Immanuel- Trinity Lutheran Church, 20 Wisconsin American Drive, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL:  The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Richard Engen officiating.  Cremation will follow the traditional services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated in Carl’s name to Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund.
