Carol J. Rupert

Carol J. Rupert, 73, of North Fond du Lac went home to her Lord Sat. June 28, 2014 at her home with her family gathered around her. She was born on April 14, 1941 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of John M. and Adeline D. (Boehlke) Cratchy. On May 4, 1960, Carol married Larry I. Rupert in Lewiston, FL. She was a member of the Eagles Club. Carol had a great love of camping in the Northwoods, and enjoyed country music and festivals serving on the staff of the Porterfield Music Festival for a number of years. She also was a former Girl Scout leader, enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and thrift shopping with her daughters. Her greatest love was for her family; Carol was a hands-on mom and grandma. 



Carol is survived by her husband Larry, her children Jeanne (Clarence) Gorter of Harrison, Steven (Linda) Rupert of Sun Prairie, and Debra (Jacquart) of Iola, her grandchildren Heather (Cory) Kruzicki, Sara (Eric) Freund, Alyssa Rupert, Jamie Rupert, and Nicole Rupert, her step grandchildren Paul (Jodi) Gorter and Lori (David) Schroeder, three great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, her brothers David (Carol) Cratchy and James (Cheryl) Cratchy, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents 



A time of gathering for the family to receive relatives and friends will be Wed. July 2nd from 3 to 7 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the St. Agnes Cancer Center or the Dialysis Center.
