Carolyn B. Kelly-Schraufnagel
Carolyn B. Kelly-Schraufnagel, 53, passed away unexpectedly
at her home on Monday, April 20, 2015.
Carolyn was born in Fergus Falls, MN on October 8, 1961, a
daughter to Robert and Mary “Ma” (Webb) Kelly.
Carolyn was an outgoing, adventure-loving, compassionate
woman. All who met her were captivated by her larger-than-life personality.
Growing up, she was involved in gymnastics, basketball and softball. As an adult, she was involved in coaching
gymnastics and competitive swimming.
Carolyn loved camping, fishing and canoeing. She enjoyed
many adventures with her husband and family to the wilderness areas of northern
Wisconsin, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Oregon and Washington. While at home, she
was inseparable from her special kitty friends, Abby, Gracie and Baby Bug.
She cherished every moment spent with her husband, children
and grandchildren. Carolyn left us too soon.
Her fingerprints are on every aspect of our lives. She will be deeply
missed.
Survivors include her husband Rod; daughter, Shauna Kelly (Matt
Wiegel) of Aurora, IL, a step-daughter, Elizabeth (Mark) Rady of DePere, WI; a
step-son, Jesse (Kristal) Schraufnagel of Missoula, MT; two
step-granddaughters, Sophia and Hazel Schraufnagel; two sisters, Patty (Mike)
O’Brien of Janesville, WI and Kathryn (Rory) Whitney of Waterloo, NE; a
brother, Sean (Joanie) Kelly of Slinger, WI; a sister-in-law, (DeAnn) Kelly of Eau Claire, WI, and many
nieces and nephews.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her sister
Colleen Mand; two brothers, Mark and Dan Kelly.
Celebration of Life:
We will celebrate the life of Carolyn on Sunday, April 26th Noon –
5PM at Nekimi Town Hall, 3790 Pickett Rd, Oshkosh, WI.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in her name will be created
and directed to the Beacon House, PO Box 1524, Fond du Lac, WI 54936-1524.
