Cathryn “Kate” Ann Barbeau

Cathryn
“Kate” Ann Barbeau, 85, of Fond du Lac, went to her eternal life on July 16,
2016 after a battle with dementia. She was born on October 11, 1930 to John and
Emily (Trapp) White in Eldorado, WI. On January 27, 1951, Kate married Raymond
Wolff.  Ray passed away on September 25,
1983.  Kate married Jean “Max” Barbeau on
February 11, 1991.

Kate worked
at The Infant Socks, Fond du Lac Store and retired after over 20 years from JC
Penny.

Kate enjoyed
reading, playing cards, dominos and watching her Green Bay Packers. She
cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She looked
forward to her winters spent with Max in Palm Harbor, FL.

Kate is
survived by her children, Jeff (special friend, Linda Wendt) Wolff of Van Dyne,
and Sally (special friend, Rick Zakos) Stark of Fond du Lac; grandchildren,
Jeff Wolff, Jr. and Natalie Wolff, both of Las Vegas and great grandchildren,
Jack and Jeff. She is further survived by Max’s four sons and their families:
Tony (Linda) Barbeau of Webster, NY and their children, Zachary and Krista, Tim
(Dyan) Barbeau of Wauwatosa and their children, Emily, Hannah and Abigail, Mark
(Cindy) Barbeau and their children, Chelesy (Mike) Jones, Callie and Michael,
and Bill (Maria) Barbeau of West Allis, and their children, Lindsay, Adam
(Ellie) and Erin; one brother, Alan (Donna) White of Berlin; a sister-in-law,
Mary “Tutz” White of Fond du Lac and many very special nieces who adored her.

Kate was
preceded in death by her husband, Max, on October 28, 2007, her parents and her
brother, Lee White.

Visitation:
Kate’s family will welcome relatives and friends at the Zacherl Funeral Home,
875 E. Division St., Fond du Lac, on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 11:00 AM to
12:30 PM. A private family service will follow. Kate will be laid to rest at
Ledgeview Memorial Park.

Kate’s family would like to thank the
staff of Kindred Hearts and Heartland Hospice, for the care and compassion
shown to Kate throughout her illness.
