During the early morning hours on May 1, 1975, Christine
Marie (Buerger) Sitter was born at
to William and Joan Buerger. She was
beautiful and her sisters, Carol Damit (Mark), Cathy Daniels (Mark) and her
brothers, Tom Buerger (Julie), Tim Buerger (Karyn) peered over the baby crib
with love and joy because they could not wait to cuddle, kiss, and hug
her!
She grew up in
a most wonderful town, and attended CCLT where she developed her faith. She graduated from
attend
where she met and fell in love with her best friend and husband Dan
Sitter.
After graduating college in 1997, Christine and Dan ventured
off to
to work. They returned to
married on October 30, 1998 at St. Mary’s in Lomira. Christine and Dan moved to
Crosse
overjoyed when Eleanor Beatrice Sitter was born on March 23, 2003. Their family returned to live in
to welcome Margaret Ruth Sitter to the world on October 6, 2005. Christine loved being a Mom and adored her
daughters.
Christine graduated from
taught at
year. Christine’s love of reading and
serving students continued as the librarian at St. Mary Springs High School. Christine coached the freshman volleyball
team and the forensic team. Some of
Christine’s favorite things were family, friends, hiking, swimming, walking,
reading, writing, and enjoying the outdoors.
Christine’s loving family also includes Tony & Sue
Sitter, Mike Sitter (Heather), and ten nieces and nephews: Daniel, Michael
& Thomas Damit, Elizabeth &
Anthony Buerger (Kim), Cassandra & Samantha Buerger, Lauren & Ethan
Sitter.
Christine’s family will greet relatives and friends at Zacherl
Funeral Home,
from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on Saturday at Holy
Family Catholic Church,
Street
A Mass of Christian Burial for Christine will be celebrated
at 11:00 AM. on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Holy Family Catholic Church in
Church Cemetery in Lomira.
