Dale E. Kleineschay

Dale E. Kleineschay, 78, of
Oshkosh, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at his residence.

 

He was born on April 9, 1938,
in Fond du Lac, a son of Ervin H. and Marcella E. Gusse Kleineschay.

 

Dale served with the United
States Air Force from 1956-1957.

 

On June 6, 1959, he married his
high school sweetheart, Judith M. Lange at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church.  She preceded him in death on March 28, 2002.

 

Dale, his father, and his brother
built houses.  He was a master craftsman
and loved woodworking.  He worked at Valco
Mfg. building cabinets and retired from Armstrong Blum Mfg., Oshkosh in 2002.

 

Dale was a member of Church
of Peace, serving on the building committee, using his talents to make the
cross, candelabra, and candlesticks.  He
was proud to be very involved in Boy Scouts and was a scout leader for Troop
618.  Dale loved his family.  His wife, Judy, his kids, and his grandkids
meant the world to him.  He loved the
outdoors, especially in Wautoma and up North. 
He loved to fish with his fly rod (he was an expert at it) and
hunting.   Dale loved to play his guitar
and harmonica for hours at a time.  He
was happy with the simplest things. He was an expert storyteller, sharing his
life experiences.  Dale had many talents
and abilities that he passed on to his family. 
He also recognized other people’s talents, and he seemed to bring out
the best in people.  He was a great
husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a great friend and role model to
all who knew him.

 

He is survived by two
children:  Greg (Jane) Kleineschay of
DePere and Cheryl “Cher” (Tim) McBrair of Oshkosh; five grandchildren:  Emily (Steven) Seiltz, Ryan (special friend, Kayty
Dehling) Kleineschay, Kara (fiancé, John Holsworth) McBrair, and twins, Abby
and Alex McBrair; a sister, Carol Kleineschay Foertsch of Green Bay; two
sisters-in-law:  Marilyn (Lyle) Kraus of
Oshkosh and Dorothy “Dottie” Lange of Appleton; nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by
his parents; his wife, Judith; a brother, Rodney

 

VISITATION:  The visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31
East Division Street, Fond du Lac.

 

SERVICE:  The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
on Tuesday at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory with Rev. Jennifer Dawson
officiating.

 

Burial will be in Ledgeview
Memorial Park.

 

A memorial is being
established in Dale’s name.
