Doris M. Schibline Bragg

Doris M. Schibline Bragg, 92,
of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran
Home. 

 

She was born on December 23,
1922, a daughter of Matthew and Rose Schussler Schibline.

 

On June 19, 1955, she married
Oliver Bragg.  Prior to his death, they
traveled extensively across the United States and The Orient.

 

Doris was a hairdresser at
Hill’s Beauty Salon in Fond du Lac, for 25 years until her retirement in 1983,
and returned to Fond du Lac from Florida in 2005, to be close to her
family.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, and
making her Christmas cookies and candy. 
She also enjoyed making baby blankets and reading.  She was a member of Presentation of the
Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, North Fond du Lac.

 

She is survived by daughter,
Geraldine (David) Bell of North Fond du Lac; four grandchildren:  Michael (Susan) Bell of Eldorado, Rhea (Ron)
Behlke of Fond du Lac, Cheryl (Douglas) Kuhel of Wolverine Lake, Michigan, and
Thomas Bragg, Jr. of California; two great-grandchildren:  David and Katherine Behlke; three brothers:  Joseph Schibline, John (Carma) Schibline, and
Michael Schibline; a sister, Ethel Stinemates, all of Fond du Lac; nieces,
nephews and other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by
her parents; her husband, Oliver, on June 26, 1991; a son, Thomas Bragg, Sr.;
two brothers: Donald Schibline, and Edward and his wife, Elizabeth Schibline;
also two other sisters-in-law:  Dorothy
Schibline and Kolleen Schibline; a brother-in-law, Bruce Stinemates; and a
niece, Mary Uribe.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2015,                    at Presentation of the
Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 705 Michigan Avenue, North Fond du Lac, with Fr. Joseph
Dominic officiating.

 

Visitation will be on Monday
at church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

 

Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be directed to Agnesian Hospice Hope.
