Dorothy Rine Pawlowski

Dorothy Rine Pawlowski, 96,
of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, July 19, 2014, at the St. Francis Home, Fond du
Lac.

 

She was born on December 4,
1917, in Neenah, Wisconsin, a daughter of Rudolph and Anna Melcher Rine.  Dorothy graduated from Neenah High School and
Michael Reese School of Nursing, Chicago, Illinois.

 

On September 14, 1939, she
married John V. Pawlowski, Jr. at her parent’s home officiated by The Rev. Walter
Courtney.

 

Dorothy was an industrial nurse
at Kimberly Clark’s International Headquarters. 
She was a deacon at First Presbyterian Church, Neenah, a choir member, a
bible class leader, and a board member.

 

She is survived by two
children:  Jeanette “Susy” (Don) Wolf of
Fond du Lac and The Rev. Mark (Jeanne) Pawlowski of Three Rivers, Michigan;
nine grandchildren:  Jonathan (Yessica)
Pawlowski of Savannah, Georgia, Daniel (Ginny) Wolf of Ripon, Joan (Greg) Boyce
of Oshkosh, Joy (Tom) Considine of Portage, Judi (Bob) Balson of the Bahamas,
Douglas Wolf of Gurney, Illinois, Dean Wolf of Fond du Lac, and Jill Wolf of
Fond du Lac; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by
her parents; her stepmother, Elsie Rine; her husband, John, on April 16, 1980;
a granddaughter, Jan Marie Wolf; and a sister, Betty Bivins.

                                                      

A celebration of life memorial
service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at First
Presbyterian Church, 200 Church Street, Neenah, with Rev. Paul Huxtable
officiating. 

The family will greet
relatives and friends on Sunday at church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of
service.  Burial will be in St. John’s
Catholic Cemetery, Menasha.
