Duaine H. Strean

Duaine H. Strean, 61, of Elko, MN formerly of Campbellsport passed away peacefully on Saturday Jan. 17, 2015 at his home. He was born in West Bend on May 30, 1953, the son of Royal and Dorothy (nee Schultz) Strean. Duaine worked for Marvin Butzke until he became disabled due to a truck-train accident. On Nov. 11, 1995, Duaine married Carol Voigt at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Campbellsport where he was a member. In his earlier years he enjoyed his Harley and hunting. Duaine also enjoyed collecting muscle cars, playing cards, car shows and spending time with his Campbellsport friends. He was a member of the IOOB in Dundee. 



Survivors include his wife Carol, his sons Terry (Courtney) Strean and their daughters Allie and Arya of Burnsville, MN, and Andy (Jennifer) Strean and their son Casey of Elko, MN, his step-daughter Nichole (Joshua) Fettig and their children James, Kaylei, Hunter and Alyssa of Campbellsport, his step-son Curtis Voigt of Lomira, his step-father Bob Johnson of Plymouth, his siblings Roger Strean of Campbellsport, Allen (Sheila) Strean of Fond du Lac, Sharon (Wesley) Searl of Fond du Lac and Kevin (Tracy) Johnson of Plymouth, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Royal Strean, his mother Dorothy Strean Johnson, his brother Bobby Johnson, his sister-in-law Shirley Strean and his niece Sandra Strean. 



A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 25th at 6:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 350 S. Helena St. Campbellsport. Rev. Paul Cerny will officiate and inurnment will be in Union Cemetery, Campbellsport at a later date. After the service there will be a gathering at the Roadhouse in Dundee to continue the celebration of Duaine’s life. 

Visitation will be Sunday Jan, 25th from 4:00 PM until time of service at the CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
