Edward C. Preo

Edward C. Preo, 78, of Lake Seven passed away peacefully April 22, 2016 at his home. Ed was born on June 8, 1937 in Milwaukee, the son of Richard and Madeline (nee Flasch) Preo.  On May 12, 1960, he married Judith R. Fleischman at St. Kilian Catholic Church in St. Killian.  Ed served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1958 and then worked as a postal carrier at the West Bend Post Office.  In retirement, Ed worked for Tom’s Custom Millwork, Medical Transfer Vans and Ernie Van Schledorn. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.  He enjoyed Indy-car racing, “putzing” in his woodworking shop, cooking, camping, and traveling.  Ed was a very faithful man and a devoted husband, father and grandfather; he will be greatly missed




 




Survivors include his daughter Ann (Larry) Johnson of Kewaskum, Yvonne (David) Boettcher of Kewaskum and Michelle Jaeger of Campbellsport, his grandchildren Andrea (Jason) Jenkins, Bryan and Christa Theisen, Becky (special friend Eric Dumphy) Johnson, Tim (special friend Sarah Lemke) and Michael Boettcher, Lynn and Amanda Preo and Kyle (special friend Kirsten Lloyd) and Joseph Jaeger, his great grandchildren Noah, Heidi, Andrew, Natalie, Riley and Parker, his brother George (Barbara) Preo of Hampstead, NC , his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Mary of Sheboygan, John and Katie, Aggie, Louise and Rich Fahney, Tony and Chris, all of Kewaskum, Betty and Dennis Krueger of Beechwood,  Albert and Joan, Norman “Hubie” and Gloria and Angela and Tom Schickert all of Campbellsport, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 




Ed was preceded in death by his wife Judy on July 26, 2009, his son Edward P., his grandson Mark Jaeger, his granddaughter Sarah Boettcher, his parents Richard and Madeline Preo, his sisters Mary (Tom) Wiegele and Ann Sebanc, his in-laws Frank and Bernice Fleischman and his nieces Christa Fleischman, Jenny Sebanc and Rhonda Krueger. 




 




Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 27th at 6:00 PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main St., Kewaskum.  Rev. Edwin Kornath will officiate and burial will be Thursday in St. Matthias Cemetery, New Fane.




Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27th from 3:00 PM until time of mass at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Holy Trinity School or the charity of your choice.
