Edward Jazdzewski

Edward
Jazdzewski, 88, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton on June 16,
2016.  He was born on October 31, 1927 to
Frank and Tillie (Dombrowski) Jazdzewski in Wild Rose.  Edward married Delores Pionke on July 30,
1949.  Delores passed away in 1976.  Edward married Mary Alice Wagner on June 23,
1979 in Mount Calvary. 

Edward grew
up on the family farm in the Almond area. 
He moved to Milwaukee and built his own house, as well as many
more.  Edward worked as a road equipment
operator.  After moving to Fond du Lac,
he worked for Towne Construction and at Rueping’s Leather Company for 30
years.  Edward spent retirement at his
cottage in Mercer and wintered in Ruskin, Florida.

Edward was a
member of Holy Family Catholic Community and a 3rd degree knight of
the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed gardening, dancing the polka, woodworking,
fishing and his feline pal, Fritzy.

Edward is
survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Marlene (Dave) Gerner and Barbara
(Mark) Strobel; one son, Larry (Debora) Anderson; ten grandchildren, Mike, Tim,
Kelley, Brett, Mark, Mandy, Molly, Scott, Bo and Blair; fifteen great
grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Raatz of Germantown and Frances Wedde of
Wautoma; other relatives and many friends.

Edward was
preceded in death by his first wife, Delores, a grandson, Adam Alan, a
granddaughter, Kim Renee, his parents, three brothers and six sisters.

Visitation:
Edward’s family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 21st
at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 S. Peters Ave., Fond du Lac, from 11:30 AM
to 1:15 PM. 

Service: A
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the visitation on
Tuesday, at the church at 1:30 PM. 
Father Edward Sippel will officiate.

A special thank you to all the
doctors, nurses and staff at St. Elizabeth for the excellent care given to
Edward and family during his illness.
