Eileen T. Williams-Pinch

Eileen T. Williams-Pinch, 84, of Eldorado, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at her residence. She was born a twin on June 8, 1929 in the Town of Springvale to Howard and Mary Whalen Smith. She graduated from Rosendale High School in 1946 and attended Oshkosh State Teachers College and Constance School of Cosmetology in Oshkosh. She was employed as a beauty operator in Fond du Lac and Oshkosh.

One June 7, 1950 she married Wesley W. Williams at St. Mary’s Church in Springvale. They resided in South Dakota and Montana for 14 years. Wesley died of a massive heart attack on May 14, 1964 and shortly after, Eileen and their five children moved to Eldorado. She was appointed Postmaster of Eldorado in 1966 and held the position for 31 years until she retired in January 1997.

Eileen was an active member of Our Risen Savior Catholic Church in Woodhull and a member of the Retired Postmasters Association.

On September 28, 1978 she married James L. Pinch at St. Mary’s Church in Eldorado. They were married 22 years until his death in 2000.

Survivors include two daughters: Karen (Douglas) Jarvis of Fond du Lac and Sharon (Thomas) Isaac of Germantown; two sons: Patrick (Janet) Williams of Brookfield and Owen (Linda) Williams of Crookston, Minnesota; 7 grandchildren and one daughter-in-law, Felicie Williams of Grand Junction, Colorado. Other survivors include two sisters: Patricia Hunter of Pickett, Wisconsin and her twin, Athleen (Cyril) Simon of St. Peter, Wisconsin; one brother James (Marilyn) Smith of Searcy, Arkansas; two brothers-in-law Charles Marschall and Phillip Ruedinger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Wesley W. Williams; son, Michael M. Williams; second husband James L. Pinch; and a sister Ann Ruedinger.

Visitation: Family will receive relatives and friend on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Our Risen Savior Catholic Church, Woodhull from 9:30 AM until 11:15 AM.

Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 11:30 AM. Father Joe Dominic will officiate. Cremation has taken place. A private burial will be held at a later date.
