Elaine F. Rehwinkel

Elaine F. Rehwinkel, 88, of Waupun, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 13, 2014 while residing at The Christian Home in Waupun.

Elaine was born June 26, 1926 in the town of Trenton to Sigmund and Martha (Berndt) Rehwinkel.  Elaine was baptized on July 18, 1926 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in North Burnett.  She confirmed her faith on March 17, 1940 at Pella Lutheran Church.  Elaine was a member of Pella Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and was a volunteer at the church.  She also volunteered for many years at the Bethesda Lutheran Home in Watertown.  She was employed by National Rivet in Waupun for 38 years.

Elaine is survived by nieces: Beverly (Donald) Schultz and Sharon (Jim) Evers; nephews: David (Judy) Deibert, Frederick (Loretta) Deibert, Keith (Mary) Deibert, Paul (Peggy) Westerveld, and Mark (Mary Jo) Westerveld; great-nieces and nephews: Lori (Rob) Quandt, Mari (Jeff) Heideman, Gordon (April) Schultz, Gary (Laura) Schultz, Diane (Bucky) Hiley, Dale (Kim) Deibert, Denise Grabarkiewicz, Michael Deibert, Mathew Deibert, Scott Deibert, Kelsey Westerveld, and Spencer Westerveld; great-great-nieces and nephews; great-great-great nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Roland Westerveld of Marshfield; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother; sisters: Elnora Deibert and Ethel Westerveld; brother-in-law, Elmer Deibert; nieces: Beth Westerveld and Marion Deibert; nephew, Kenneth Deibert; and great nephews: Daryl Deibert and Todd Deibert.

Funeral services for Elaine F. Rehwinkel will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun with Rev. Mike Stock officiating.  Burial will take place at North Burnett Cemetery.  Friends and relatives of Elaine Rehwinkel may call on the family at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
