Eleanor D. Chapman

Eleanor D. Chapman,
85, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Hospice Home of
Hope.  She was born March 11, 1929 in
Chicago, IL, the daughter of Ignatz and Catherine Blattner Schaub.  On September 6, 1947 she married John “Jack”
L. Chapman in Fond du Lac and he preceded her in death on November 17,
1996.  Eleanor was a nurse’s aid at
Rolling Meadows Nursing Home until her retirement.  She was a volunteer for the Fond du Lac Food
Pantry and St. Paul’s Cathedral Mouse Factory.

 

She is survived by
one daughter, Jacqueline (Jeff) Hansen of Brownsville; one son, Lloyd (Joan)
Chapman of Rosendale; three granddaughters, Kim (Mitch) Loomans of Fond du Lac,
Heather (Chris) Hall of Kronenwetter, Erin (Mike) Maxwell of Fond du Lac; six
great grandchildren, Danny and Sydney Loomans, Olivia and Madalyn Hall, Finley
Maxwell and Lexi Stark.  She is further
survived by one sister, Anna Thurk of Fond du Lac; two sisters-in-law, Betty
Schaub of Fond du Lac and Mary Schaub of Grafton; special friend, Peter Mayer
of Fond du Lac.  She was preceded in
death by her parents; her husband, Jack; six brothers and four sisters.

 

VISITATION: Per
Eleanor’s request there will be no visitation. FUNERAL: Private family memorial
services were held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with
The Very Reverend Brian Beno officiating. 
Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in Estabrooks Cemetery.

Eleanor’s name can be made to Hospice Home of Hope.
