Elsie Pickart

Elsie Pickart, 92, joined the love of her life, Clifford Pickart on Tuesday, June 9, 2015. She was born November 13, 1922 in Green Lake County, the daughter of Louis and Josephine Wachovick Berlowski. On April 19, 1941 she married Clifford J. Pickart at Holy Cross Church in Mt. Calvary. Elsie was a member of Holy Family Parish and the American Legion Auxiliary. Elsie enjoyed playing cards, bingo, puzzles, crocheting, baking and watching her children and grandchildren’s sporting events. She was an avid Badger and Brewer fan and a proud shareholder of the Green Bay Packers.



Elsie is survived by eight children, Barbara Gustafson, Richard (Joyce) Pickart, Linda Pickart, Carol (Arnie “Butch”) Albertz, Loretta White, Steven (Ann) Pickart, Julie (George) Riese, and David (Kay) Pickart, all of Fond du Lac; she was Grandma to, Jodi (Darwin) Will, Traci (Jeff) Borgen, Shannon Truss, Shelley (Mike) Bach, Lisa Jensen, Josh (Stephanie) Hamm, Sarah (Brooks) Halstead, Ronda (Cameron) Flores, Robin (Rick) Rodriguez, Renee and Russell White, Cliff and Kelsey Pickart, Andrew, Matt and Emily Riese, and Nelson, Kayla, and Collin Pickart; she was Great-Grandma to, Erin (Matt) Woicek, Staci and Ryan (Jaimie) Bach, Nick (Jenny) and Nathan Will, Josie Jensen, Bryton and Kaleigh Rodriguez, Imriel, Grayson and Jasper Flores, Ignatius and Finley Truss and Scarlett Halstead; she was Great-Great-Grandma to, Kaira, Ella and Evianna. She is further survived by brothers-¬in¬-law, Jerry Pickart of Mount Calvary and Don Blaylock of Fond du Lac. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Clifford J. Pickart; a daughter, Marie Pickart; sons-¬in-¬law, Philip Gustafson and Ronald White; five sisters and three brothers.



The visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Wednesday at church. The memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way. Cremation has taken place and burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery.



Elsie’s family would like to thank Agnesian Hospice Hope for their care and compassion. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to her family for their loving care the last six months allowing us to honor Mom’s request to remain in the comfort of her own home.
