Georgine Mary Schiller
Georgine Mary Schiller, 99, of Fond du Lac, passed away February
5, 2016, at Tarfa Terrace in Fond du Lac.
She was born February 3, 1917 in Fond du Lac, a daughter of the late
Henry and Amanda Mertz Vandervort. On
November 8, 1938 she married Leander John Schiller at St. Mary’s Church, Fond
du Lac.
Georgine was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Mary’s
Church, the church’s Altar Society, the Daughters of Isabella and the St. Agnes
Hospital Auxiliary for many years.
Survivors include her son John H. Schiller of Fond du Lac,
nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leander; an infant
son, five sisters, Harriet Ruger, Thelma Bartlett, Phyllis Hanisch, LaReine
Vandervort, and Madelyn Ohlrich, three brothers, an infant George, Harold and
Robert Vandervort.
Visitation: Visitation
will be held at the Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du
Lac on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:15 AM.
Services: A Mass
of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM in Holy Family Church, on
Tuesday, February 9, 2016. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
