Helen E. Stich

Helen E.
Stich, 76, resident of Venice Florida and Fond du Lac, formerly of New Berlin,
passed away at St. Agnes Hospital on Sunday, September 14, 2014. Helen was born
in Milwaukee on March 12, 1938, a daughter of Charles and Mary (Rittman)
Johnston.  On August 1, 1959 Helen
Married Donald A. Stich at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Milwaukee.

Helen is a
graduate of Pius High School, Milwaukee. 
She was a dispatcher for the New Berlin Fire Department.  She was a member of Epiphany Cathedral in
Venice Florida and attended Holy Family Parish while spending summer months in
Fond du Lac.

She loved
being with children and often provided child care.  She enjoyed puzzles, playing cards and
spending time with friends and family. 

Helen is
survived by Don, her husband of 55 years; 2 children, Tina (Ron) Pech of Fond
du Lac and Philip Stich of Fond du Lac; siblings, Mary Matlon, Fr. Richard
Johnston, Ann Weber, Joan Jardine, Brian (Joanna) Johnston, Judy Altohf and
Carol (Rick) Detjan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She is
preceded in death by her parents; son, Peter; sister, Patricia Thoma.

Visitation: 
The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, September 20,
2014 from 8:30 AM until 9:45 AM at Holy Family Parish, 271 Fourth Street Way,
Fond du Lac. 

Service: 
At 10:00 AM a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in
Holy Family Parish.  Cremation has taken
place. 

Memorials in
her name may be directed to the American Heart Association.
